San Marzano Edda Bianco IGP Salento is an Italian white semi-dry wine from the Salento IGP region in Puglia, which is distinguished by a harmonious combination of fruity brightness, freshness and light minerality. The name Edda in the local dialect symbolizes femininity and elegance, which is fully reflected in the taste and aromatic profile of the drink.
This wine is created from a blend of grapes, which includes Chardonnay (≈60%), Moscatello Selvatico (≈20%) and Fiano (≈20%), which gives it sophistication, fruity nuances and a characteristic sweet base.
In the glass, Edda Bianco has a light straw color with golden highlights, and the aroma is filled with pleasant notes of white flowers, peach, citrus and a delicate shade of vanilla and spices.
The taste is semi-dry, balanced and refreshing - with a clearly expressed fruit base, lively acidity and a light minerality, which makes the profile elegant and pleasant.
San Marzano Edda Bianco IGP Salento is excellent as an aperitif, as well as in combination with seafood, fish dishes, light salads, pasta with white sauce and soft cheeses. The recommended serving temperature is ~12–14 °C for the best development of aromas and flavors.
