San Marzano Sessantanni Primitivo di Manduria is a premium Italian dry red wine from the Puglia region of Southern Italy, one of the most famous and respected wines from the Primitivo di Manduria DOP. It is the flagship product of the Cantine San Marzano winery, created from Primitivo grapes grown in old vineyards (≈60 years old) with the traditional Alberello system, which contributes to the concentration of flavor and aroma.

In the glass, the wine has an intense ruby-red color and a broad, complex aroma, where notes of ripe dark fruit, plum and cherry jam are intertwined, with subtle shades of tobacco and spices.

The taste is dry, full-bodied and balanced, with soft, elegant tannins and a deep fruit base. The finish is long, with hints of cocoa, coffee and vanilla, resulting from aging in French and American oak barrels for ≈12 months.

This wine pairs well with red meat, lamb, game, grilled dishes and full-bodied cheese plates, where its structure and aromas are revealed to the fullest. Recommended serving temperature 16–18 °C.
