Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition is an Irish blended whiskey (Blended Irish Whiskey) produced by Jameson at the Midleton Distillery. It is part of the Jameson Caskmates series — the result of collaboration between Jameson’s whiskey makers and craft beer brewers, where the whiskey is aged and finished in stout‑seasoned barrels, giving it a distinctive character.

Like classic Jameson, this expression is triple distilled, but the stout cask finish introduces additional layers of flavour — from cocoa and coffee notes to subtle hops and butterscotch.

Colour: warm golden amber with rich highlights.
Aroma: fresh orchard fruit (green apple, pear, lime zest) blending into milk chocolate, roasted barley and gentle spice notes.
Taste: smooth and layered, with hints of hops, cocoa beans, marzipan, vanilla and oak.
Finish: long, sweet and balanced, with lingering milk chocolate and caramel echoes.

This whiskey carries no official age statement (NAS), but the stout barrel finishing enhances depth and richness compared to standard Jameson.

It is ideal neat or on the rocks and also works well in beer‑inspired cocktails or contemporary whiskey mixes.
