Citadelle Rouge Gin is a French premium gin with an unusual fruity character, created at Maison Ferrand in the Poitou-Charentes region (France), where the traditions of artisanal distillation are combined with modern aromatic solutions.
Citadelle Rouge Gin is made on the basis of neutral wheat alcohol using 24 plant ingredients (botanicals) - in addition to the classic 19 inherent in Citadelle Original, berries with a red fruit profile (cranberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackcurrants) and rhubarb are added, which form its strong fruity accents without the addition of dyes or sugar.
In a glass, the drink has a crystal clear appearance, and the aroma is revealed by intense notes of fresh red berries, coniferous elements of juniper and delicate spicy nuances, creating a rich fruit-citrus bouquet.
The taste of Citadelle Rouge Gin is fresh, fruity and well-balanced: red berries organically combine with the light acidity of rhubarb and traditional gin motifs, creating a complex, refreshing profile with a long aftertaste.
This gin is excellently revealed with ice, tonic or soda, where its fruity character and freshness become a bright accent of the drink; it is also used as a base for modern cocktails, where the combination of berry richness and citrus freshness gives the compositions depth and liveliness.
Citadelle Rouge Gin combines French distillation craftsmanship, a rich aromatic profile and the freshness of berry character, making it an attractive choice for both lovers of traditional gin and those who appreciate fruity-fresh variations of the classic style.
